SJ is a solo hip-hop recording artist that performs with his live performance band, The 1093 Experience. The performance band was named as such because SJ wants to give fans and potential fans an experience that isn't traditional with many hip-hop acts (I.e. Performing with a band) SJ has done more that 70 shows, including opening up for Chevy Woods, performing with the YSU Marching Pride in front of 20,000 people, and being a part of Youngstown's biggest music festival, Federal Frenzy, for 2 years. His music was also featured on season 3 of Canadian TV Series "Mohawk Girls".
