"Press Release: Show Whight – “Remember” Single"

Award winning singer-songwriter, Show Whight, has released his brand-new track “Remember,” a heart-felt song that is rich with emotion and a melancholic feel.

To date, it is the most personal and intimate song of Whight’s career. The personal lyrics combine with the music to create a highly emotional song that invites the listener to reminisce of the tender feelings of being in love. Whight’s rich, distinct vocals are just as strong as they are melodic and his soothing tone invites you into a deep emotional place that he shares, if only for a brief moment.

The song captures the essence of falling in love and the lyrics paint a picture of the emotions and feelings involved; which now only exists as memories etched into his mind. The song reveals an emotionally vulnerable spirit that longs to hold onto the memory of a love once had. The lyrics are honest and refreshing as Whight sings “I miss it all, the memory never goes away I miss it all”.

“…’Remember’ transports you back in time to a place when you were in love. The song reminds you that the love you once felt still remains and you have the ability to experience it again by simply remembering. Whight perfectly captured the tone, feel and magic of it all. In many ways Remember is a song that we can all relate to.” – Barbara Taylor

And we at Artist Reach agree. This song’s ambience is ever-present and really encompasses a whole new realm of emotions. It’s an imaginative song that touches on equal parts originality and familiarity, and really takes you on a journey of the specific feelings of love and what it really resonates with. All added with a great lyrically melodic narrative that carries this song from start to finish.

This is a song for any avid music listener longing for something they can listen to and identify with. Something that reminds you of the glory days of true love, or even one of those unforgettable honeymoon phases from your relationship’s beginnings. It’s a brilliantly executed song and has authentic production value that really puts Whight‘s strongpoints at the forefront; and will have you coming back to this track time and time again. -

"Show Whight releases romantic rock offering ‘Down The Aisle’"

Show Whight is definitely in love in new alternative rock single ‘Down The Aisle’. We rarely hear this type of vulnerability from an artist in the rock genre. It’s so tocuhing but with a hard rock touch that blends perfectly. Towards the end of the track, he adds a beautiful guitar solo that binds the track together ever so nicely. -

"There’s No Business Like Show Business! Show Whight Brings Back the Spirit of Rock n Roll!"

Show Whight may be based at the foot of the Hollywood hills but he has chosen the UK to launch his debut single, such is his reverence for the great legends of UK rock – Led Zep; Black Sabbath; Queen et al. Committed to bringing his no-holds barred rock sound to a generation conditioned to think nothing can match any of the ‘classic rock’ artists of years past, Down the Aisle is a single which demonstrates by the power of his vocals and the grandeur of his music, the perfect introduction to an artist who is single-handedly looking to bring the power of rock back to the world.

Born to Egyptian parents in Los Angeles, Show Whight himself found himself in the shadow of the pyramids whilst studying at Cairo Opera House in his teens. Managing to find rock and metal fans even there, he returned to America determined to make it as a rock star, even taking up his mum’s ultimatum of “you’ll have to leave home” to achieve it. Taking rock ‘n’ roll as not only a musical style but also an ideology, he has honed his craft, playing at iconic venues such as House of Blues and Viper Room and rubbing shoulders with everyone from Twisted Sister’s Dee Snider and Toto frontman, Bobby Kimball. Show is now embarking on his quest to bring rock music to audiences.

Featuring guitar and production from Ian Charlie, Down the Aisle is best described with Show’s own words:

“I wrote it about 2 years ago when a friend of mine told me that I should write a wedding song that everyone will play at their wedding - I always wanted to record it and get it out there. I really like how the song takes you up and down emotionally then escalates into a heavy sound with a scream and a guitar solo. Ironically, I’ve never had any intention of getting married!” -

Bio

Show Whight started his musical career when he joined the choir in elementary school. He always knew, even from an early age, that singing was his passion. He always believed and still does that with the right determination, anything can happen. Show Whight started with classical vocal lessons given by an international opera singer. Today, he still enjoys the West Coast’s charm in the beautiful Los Angeles where he was born and raised. Earlier in his childhood his brother who is six years older and played the drums was the first one to inspire Show to enter the world of Rock Music, but his brother was not the only musical talent in their family. Show’s father as well was a songwriter. As a kid, Show used to write songs during class and skip school to go to choir practice. Today he still likes to live dangerously, and pushes himself and his talent towards perfection. Show always seeks to do something different, things that other people aren’t doing, which usually leads him to work on his own. No wonder his biggest role models are Robert Plant, David Bowie, and Elvis Presley. Show’s music is soul touching, and truly captures the essence of rock music.
