Bio
Starting with free software and the most basic studio equipment of the time, Shawn began making beats in 2004. Tracks are layered with funky and jazzy guitar, keyboard, or synth riffs and chords, pumped by booming 808s and hip-hop-influenced percussion and drum rhythms. After his first release, "CD" in 2008 which was part of his high school graduation project, he moved to Norfolk, VA where he studied International Business at Old Dominion University. He then released an unofficial music video with his original work "Coast" in 2016 commemorating his family and friends. His second official release "A Minor Introduction: Father and Son" debuted online outlets in 2018. He consistently collaborates with other artists and acts such as Tony C. Presents, Ben & Friends, Steez Promo, BLCK, and several churches and places of worship. Currently, Shawn resides in the tidewater area playing at shows, places of worship, and in collaborations.
