Formed in 2015 from the ashes of bands like Your Dying Day and Sum of None, Shattered Beneath has been a well kept secret on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Since its inception, Shattered Beneath has worked to create a sound unlike any other, mixing driving heavy metal guitar and drums with groovy bass lines and catchy melodic lyrics. This musical style is driven by influences such as Staind, Seether, Tool, Breaking Benjamin and Pantera.
In the summer of 2017, Shattered Beneath will complete and release their first full-length independent studio album, "Returning to Human". Recorded over the course of a few months in late 2016 and early 2017, this concept album portrays a struggle with emotional turmoil and the causes and consequences of these battles in everyday life.
