Shameless James

Shameless James is an alternative rock trio based in Athens, Georgia. A conglomeration of each member's distinct musical tastes, the band progresses the modern indie sound by combining explosive drums, melodic basslines, soulful vocals, and psychedelic tendencies. The band currently consists of Zac Connely (Bass/Vocals), Dallas Wiggins (Drums), and Zach Tellano (Keys/Guitar/Vocals). 

Emphasizing energetic live performances, the band explores an array of sounds on stage through constantly changing setlists and love for improvisation. While not quite a jam band, Shameless James loves keeping the audience on their toes, switching between driving riffs and funky grooves while reinventing a lot of the music that inspires them. The band enjoys frequenting an array of venues in Athens and Atlanta including 40 Watt Club, Smith's Olde Bar, and Nowhere Bar, and earlier this year, the band helped host an Earth Day Celebration event at Southern Brewing Company, raising $4,000 to support The Eco-Incubator in Athens while also selling out the event at a 400 person capacity. While the band is able to perform sets of original music, Shameless James has a vast and versatile arsenal of covers to accommodate various audiences for both public and private events. Shameless James has released three singles, and the band is currently working on recording an EP that is planned to be released spring of 2022.
