This release is reminiscent of artists as diverse as Jay Z, Kanye West, J Cole, or Logic, only to name a few. It’s really all about the attitude, and “Outsider” makes it clear from the get-go: this is not an album that gets stuck in the ordinary cliches of the genres, and as a result, you can expect to be blown away by the insightful content of the lyrics and by the sheer sound of this album. There is a lot of grit, giving the tracks a very “essentialistic” vibe, which bonds well with the flow of the vocals. - Its HipHop Music
This song features introspective lyricism that showcases the emcee as a great storyteller. Shaded Profit (born Edgar Pabon) indicates that he wrote this piece about “learning to let go of painful experiences, whether they be those that affected me directly or whether it be those that affected others directly”. To put it lightly Shaded Profit is adorable and so is his sound which mixes contemporary pop with lyrics that are actually a pleasure to listen to that offer endless introspective poetry. I’m Coming Home is dedicated to the men and women in the Armed Forces, it’s probably the best Hip Hop track of it’s genre since Eminem brought out Toy Soldiers. He takes a tragic subject and puts his lyrics against a traditional upbeat Hip Hop track that take away the gravity of emotion and just immerses you in the music. - A&R Factory

Shaded Profit is a hip hop artist who creates music based on his experiences as an awkward nerd navigating the worlds of elite society, tech, the streets, and the military. Described as a cross between Chance the Rapper and Childish Gambino, Profit manages to combine a mainstream pop sound with the type of introspective and poetic lyrics often found in conscious rap. He released his debut EP, "Outsider", in summer 2019.
Originally from the Bronx, NY, Shaded Profit (born Edgar Pabon) began rapping when he was 17. As someone who lived in the ghetto but went to an elite prep school, rap became a way for him to voice his unique perspective of having to navigate different worlds. After failing to gain traction with his music after high school, Profit focused his energies on other areas over the next few years. In this period, he graduated from college, served as an officer in the Army, and worked as a software engineer. After realizing that his heart was still in music, he returned to hip hop with a newfound intensity and maturity.
