These guys are tight; their live set sounds exactly like their studio recordings, unless they change it up on purpose. Hearing rabid tracks like “Paid in Blood” and the epic “Beyond (The Wicked Lies)” live was beyond impressive. The title track to the new CD “Epidemic” was another one of those thrash-tinged compositions that made you think that maybe if Metal Church and Megadeth wrote a song together, it’d end up sounding exactly like Seventh Calling. They even closed with a shout out to lead singer/guitarist Steve Handel’s vocal hero, the late David Wayne, and then tore up their version of the song “Metal Church.” Seventh Calling is a guitarhead’s dream, with solos and leads blazing throughout every song, and the demon-throated Handel is a force on the mic as well.

The group recently finished Battle Call and as the group has stated: "Had a great time with Andy and Joey during the recording. Some great suggestions along with a very relaxed atmosphere. Andy VanGuilder of HaloHorn Productions and Mr. Joey Callahan of Zuni Worldwide Entertainment are who we have working on the new record. From what we understand they are about half through the final editing and we are beyond excited to hear what is up!"

Heavy metal band SEVENTH CALLING has completed recording its new album, "Battle Call", for an early 2014 release. The CD was was recorded between December 1 and December 7 in Traverse City, Michigan and marks the band's first release since "Epidemic", which was distributed through Heaven And Hell Records. It also marks the first recordings to feature SEVENTH CALLING's new lineup.

SEVENTH CALLING, is an American based Heavy Metal Band, The basic idea for this project was to create it's own 'style' of HEAVY METAL. Taking influences from Metal titans such as Metal Church, Judas Priest, Mercyful Fate, Riot, Megadeth, Annihilator, Primal Fear, Wolf, Dream Evil, Savatage, and so on, is what initially helped make SEVENTH CALLING come to life. After having perfomed throughout the midwest United States area for more than a year, it was time for the first album, MONUMENTS, to be recorded. This record was released on Melissa Records worldwide in 2007. The album was received very well, therefore giving the project the ability for it's first US tour, and also gaining critical acclaim for the groups live performances. Moving forward from this point, Steve Handel would relocate the project to Las Vegas, NV in 2009. This move would see him shift to the Heaven and Hell Record label for the next official offering, EPIDEMIC. Now conitinuing forward, having relocated back to the groups origins in the midwest of the US and also with the addition of Mike Walters, and drummer Dennis Pesicka to Seventh Calling's lineup, the group is now ready for 2013 with great anticipation!!
