SEVA just made history, as the FIRST Kurdish, Iraqi singer on an American singing competition in American Idol. She received 3 YES's from iconic celebrity judges Lionel Richie, Luke Bryan and Katy Perry and made it to Hollywood of this years season.
With a fusion of Ethnic, Soul and Pop, SEVA is on the rise.
Spending her childhood migrating through different countries, English was her fourth language. She is the first and only musician in her family and sings in 4 languages.
SEVA began her journey performing all over the Washington Metropolitan Areas captivating audiences with her powerful stage presence. She has been featured on WUSA 9 "Great Day Washington", CBS Channel 6 "Virginia This Morning", has performed at the Kennedy Center, the Bethesda Blues and Jazz Club, and was the opening act at the official grand opening of the Horseshoe Casino alongside Gladys Knight, just to name a few. She was the winner of the Disney American Idol Experience in Orlando, FL where an audience of a thousand people voted for her. She has performed at various well-known festivals around the East Coast and has even sang at restaurants, country clubs, private parties, corporate parties...you name it!
