Seanetta Carson, a rising star can't wait to burst on the music scene with her flavor of hope and inspiration. This Miami native knows what she wants and is working hard to get there. Growing up singing was just a hobby that she did in addition to playing sports, but by the age of fifteen she knew she wanted to be serious about it. Seanetta became apart of Youth Expressions, a Non-Profit Organization which lets at risk teenagers have an outlet to express themselves through "Hip-Hop" and "Urban Art." There she really started to take a major interest in singing, and noticed that she could touch people through music.

When it comes to her own music, Seanetta writes to inspire and uplift. She wants people to have a way of escape when they listen to her. Like her musical influences Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey, she wants to make a difference and touch people uniquely through her music. "I don't want to be perceived as something I’m not," says Seanetta as she speaks of the willingness to be bold and edgy that is exclusive to who she is. "Don't live your life as an excuse," she continues alluding to her boldness not only in her artistry, but as her life's mantra. Along with "Neo/Soul" and "R&B" don't be surprised to hear a little country music on her iPod, "I like all types of music...I like country!" This 22-year-old knows who she is and describes herself as wanting to be a trendsetter and stand out, while staying true to herself.

She would like to go all the way with music. "I want to take it as far as it can take me," the ambitious budding songbird says. As for other musical aspirations, learning how to play the acoustic guitar is at the top of her list. With a fresh blend of "Hip-Hop" and "R&B", Seanetta’s smooth approach and delicate vocals are sure to keep you interested.

As a young girl, singing and playing sports were just pastimes of Seanetta’s. It was not until the tender age of fifteen, that she made the firm decision that she wanted to become a professional singer. To jet set her journey to stardom, Seanetta became a part of a Non-Profit Organization, by the name of Youth Expressions. It was through this foundation that she and other at risk youth were given the opportunity to have an outlet, so to speak, and express themselves through the musical genres of "Hip-Hop" and "Urban Art." It was through this organization that she became in tune with her passion for music, and discovered her ability to touch people with her music.

With a zest of energy and the ability to relate to the masses through her music, Seanetta wants her listeners to hear her music and become lost within it. Lost within thought, so that her tunes serve as escape from reality. Seanettas musical influences are true “R&B Divas”, Mrs. Mariah Carey and the late great Whitney Houston. “I do not want to be perceived as something I’m not," says Seanetta, as she describes her will in remaining true to herself. This stems from her golden rule of life of, “Not living your life as an excuse”. These sayings and principles reflect Seaneattas strong will and confidence within herself, not only as a young woman, but as an artist as well.

As with any budding artist, versatility is key! So although, Seanetta labels herself as “Neo/Soul" and "R&B’, she has an ear for all things great! It is not rare to hear a few country songs blasting from her iPOD. "I like all types of music...I like country!, “says Carson. Not to mention, she’s planning on learning how to play the guitar within the near future. This versatility and openness to new things and other styles, are what will have her music standout within this ever evolving industry.
