Sarah Kendall

Sarah Kendall, a singer/songwriter, born in South Africa, and raised in Baltimore, Maryland, arrived in Brooklyn with suitcase and guitar in hand in 2007. She started playing solo shows around NYC, debuting her unique style of songwriting, singing, and finger picking acoustic guitar style. Sarah creates musical representations of her heart, soul, and story. As Sarah continued on her musical adventures, she joined forces with Cajon player and percussionist, Matt Kendall, and Upright/ Electric Bassist Barry Gibbons. The Sarah Kendall Trio instantly grooved like green jello, and decided to take a break from live performance to record their debut EP titled "Oh Really?" The SKTrio's EP, which can be found on iTunes, displays a diverse genre of gritty, funky jazz, and sometimes eerie folk rock, featuring Sarah's soulful, melodic voice.
Sarah has recently relocated to Baltimore, Maryland to explore the diverse up and coming indie music scene, and start recording her first full length solo album.
Sarah continues to evolve as a solo artist, and occasionally joins forces with other like minded musicians in the NYC area, while branching out to spread her folk to other areas of the world.
