Sac Masta

A San Francisco native, Sac Masta's upbringing is as diverse as the number of roles he plays as a musician and member of the community.  A musician, rapper/emcee, producer, singer, songwriter, DJ and rhythm section extraordinaire, Sac Masta draws from his many experiences living in the Bay Area, Boston and the Bronx NYC to give listeners a unique sound and unique perspective on the world he experiences.  

His music can be reflected in the sounds of gritty hip-hop sample based beats, while at other times he takes listeners on a psyhco-cerebral journey through the deep sounds of 808 booms, tripped out synthesizer lines and syncopated rhythms.  As a community worker and housing advocate, many of his songs speak upon topics of social injustice and inequity in access to affordable housing in American urban environments, while other songs talk about everyday issues such as romance and simply having fun. Having worked with and produced such artists as A-1, Allen Kass, Sellassie, Vado, Telli Preggo, Big Vic, the Frail, Oh Blimey, Dregs 1, Stunt City, ATG, The Julia Lewis, Carl Benito and others, Sac Masta has used to power of collaboration to bring a refreshing sonic experience to listeners around the world!
