Ryan Johnathan Lunn was born and raised in Fort Erie ON. He began to teach himself guitar when he received his first guitar from his grandfather. Ryan has been playing piano and guitar and writing music since the age of 18.

Ryan has earned his bachelors degree in Psychology (McMaster) and his Masters in Education, and is a rehabilitation therapist and teacher by trade. Full-time now, he is the co-owner of three music and art businesses in the Niagara area, that promote & support Canadian Artists and Composers.

Ryan Lunn is an local celebrity in both the musical and theatre arts communities. He has appeared in 35 live theatrical productions across he region and in two multi-award-winning movies, in his acting career. He is a confident performer in both Comedic and Dramatic scripts

Recently Ryan has released his full 14 track Concept Album entitled “We Are Co-Pilots”, which features his own compositions and instrumentation and is backed up by many local & talented musicians.

Ryan Lunn’s award winning album is written to inspire and speak to individuals healing from addiction and mental health. 

Also released are two award winning Ep's entitled : RYAN LUNN - Live from Sessions on the River and another called WAKE UP SLEEPWALKER - the Newport Electric Sessions. 

 2019 Ryan was nominated for Folk Artist of the Year, Producer of the Year, Rock Band of the Year, Peoples Choice Award, Male Vocalist of the Year, Songwriter of the Year and Promotor of the Year (Jill Lunn & Ryan Lunn) Awarded Male Vocalist of the Year and Songwriter of the year.

 2018, Ryan was Nominated for Best Original Song, Male Vocalist of the Year, Fans/Viewers Choice award, Promotor of the Year (Jill Lunn & Ryan Lunn) Awarded NMAs for Folk Artist and Producer of the Year.

Currently, Ryan has 4 Albums in various stages of post production and music videos in preproduction phases. His released music is available on all platforms and his music videos are available for viewing on YouTube.

Considered a prodigious composer, Ryan has written a portfolio of over 300 pieces in various stages of Development. Ryans writing is “Mozart like”, meaning his fully completed products are fully crafted and written in his head before he writes down a single word or lyric, note or chord. He writes primarily with his favourite Martin guitar or on his Piano, also a gift from his grandfather.

Ryans songs are full band, full chorus and fully orchestrated masterpieces. Each one of his compositions; are always are built with multiple layers of sounds and instruments, thus creating depth and capture the fullness of his thoughts and the musical picture he has painted in his mind. Much of his music remains fully conceived and complete from start to finish, in full score, in his head.

 Ryan Lunn is a family man, who’s first job is to be father and teacher to his two talented daughters Audrey and Molly.

He works with his business partner and wife, Jill Lunn (Artistic Photographer and Painter) from their home studios in Jordan Station ON. Together they create musical and art works, promote music and advocate for mental health/children’s rights in Ontario.
