RTG (Righteous Through God)

RTG is a contemporary christian band that consists of members Dave Liniarski, Chris Ofeno, Jeff Babbitt, and Peggy Turner-Carr.  God has been at work in their collective hearts, tugging at them to do something that will make a difference in peoples lives.

With all of them serving on worship teams, it was truly a “God thing” when they came to the same conclusion to do something different .... RTG – "Righteous Through God".

Together, they have written songs to express their faith-life stories and experiences.   In 2013, they opened for The Afters, "Life is Beautiful" tour.  Since then, they have performed at various venues in southeast Michigan, including benefit concerts to support local christian and international christian organizations, such as Straight Path Ministries.  In 2014, the band began recording their songs in the studio with the help of David Winans II on bass guitar from the Grammy award winning Winans family and the legendary guitarist/songwriter, Dick Wagner.  In January of 2016, RTG released their first CD, "Power of You", recorded & produced at Real II Reel Productions.   RTG was nominated as finalists for several DMA's ( Detroit Music Awards ) including "Outstanding Gospel/Christian Act" in 2016 and 2017.  In November 2017, the band released their new single "The Return",  produced by Riley Friesen and recorded at Full Circle Music, Nashville, TN.   RTG released their second single, "Lord I Pray (Most of All)", in April 2019, and currently writing/recording in Nashville to release their second CD (Spring 2020).  They continue to perform concerts with high level energy and received DMA ( Detroit Music Awards ) nominations from their peers in 2018 and 2019 for "Outstanding Gospel/Christian Act" and "Outstanding Performance".
