Rory Collins is a folk-rock singer/songwriter/acoustic guitarist based in New Orleans. After working for a couple of record labels and supporting other artists over the years, he is now focused on developing his own artistry. Collins has a passion for songwriting and draws inspiration from classic pop-rock artists such as George Harrison and Buddy Holly. Rory also recently released a self-produced album of originals titled 'Watching the World Pass You By'.
Collins recently performed at the inaugural Ozone Songwriter Festival in Mandeville, LA. He and his cherry red-colored acoustic guitar can be found playing solo gigs at venues such as the Foundation Room at House of Blues, New Orleans and the New Orleans Yacht Club. Rory is seeking opportunities to perform at other festivals and venues in the region and beyond.
