Rookie is Toronto's Premier Rock & Roll Cover Band, fronted by lead vocalist Aaron MacKenzie, of the Toronto and Las Vegas casts of Jersey Boys.
After Aaron's return from Las Vegas, he formed Rookie with bassist JT Kim, and guitarist Bill McMillan. Since then, Rookie has crafted a polished and powerful stage performance, that's sure to get people out of their seats and on the dance floor.
Combining two part harmony, blistering guitar solos, and Aaron's explosive dancing, Rookie is an electrifying live music experience. From "Johnny B. Goode" to "Jailhouse Rock", from "Be My Baby" to "A Hard Day's Night", from the advent of rock and roll, to the break up of The Beatles and beyond, they play nothing but the greatest hits from the 50s, 60s, and early 70s.
