RØBØ is an EDM DJ, specializing in dubstep and riddim. He started DJing with turntables when he was 10 and takes inspiration from the DJs Skrillex, Excision, and Virtual Riot. You can recognize him from his LED robot mask and gold bodysuit due to his persona as a Robot DJ with a robot army. His music has an edgy, melancholy feel to his songs. He previously released music on soundcloud and youtube under the name “Positive Voltage” with one of his friends and released “The Fortnight song” in 2018 which garnered over 140,000 listens on spotify. Robo has over a total of 1.8 million listens across all streaming platforms. His most recent performance was at Columbia College Chicago’s Reg Fest and he previously performed at Manifest here in Chicago. His recent EP Wavey Flow was released in 2021 on Spotify and Apple Music.
