“I Give You Praise”
Robert E. Person feat. Richard Smallwood
From the forthcoming REP album Classic Covers
www.roberteperson.com
By Bob Marovich
Covering Richard Smallwood’s composition “I Give You Praise” is commendable. Having the maestro himself accompany on piano is inspired.
Originally released by Smallwood on his 1989 album Portrait (Word Entertainment), “I Give You Praise” combines the drama of high theater with the passion of high church in offering plaudits to the Most High.
Vocalist Robert E. Person’s classical training is in evidence on this version from the quiet opening to the expansive coda. Roderick Giles & Grace, who accompanied Bryan Andrew Wilson recently on his single “Overflow,” provide the restful background vocals here. Hands down, this is Person’s best work to date.
Hearing “I Give You Praise” gets me to thinking, once again, that there really ought to be a compilation featuring various gospel artists interpreting the greatest songs of Richard Smallwood. This recording would belong on it. - Journal of Gospel Music
Robert E. Person has crafted a perfect blend of musical styles, often meshing together classical music, jazz, and even neo-soul to convey his soul stirring messages. His latest offering “I Give You Praise” is the first single from his forthcoming album “Classic Covers.” Person teamed up with the legendary minister, artist, writer, and singer to remake the song from Richard Smallwood’s “Portrait” album.
He blends gospel with jazz and even classical stylings with ease. The seamless combinations make him one of our favorite artists to play. Without expressing it, he shows listeners that there is divinity in a multiplicity of musical genres. His light shines through each composition and arrangement!

Gospel balladeer Robert E. Person teams up with the incomparable Richard Smallwood and Roderick Giles and Grace for a redo of the Smallwood Classic I Give You Praise, the first single from his upcoming album Classic Covers.
Smallwood spoke of the song and the collaboration, “I released ‘I Give You Praise’ over 28 years ago and wrote it almost 40 years ago. It is one of my favorite songs and it feels great to teach, record and release it again. “To mentor and collaborate with the younger generation of singers and musicians like Robert is important because our gifts are not our own, they are God given. We have a responsibility to reach back and sow into the next generation.”
Person echoed those sentiments, “Singers record and perform cover songs all the time and having the opportunity to re-make a song with the original artist is rare,” says Person. “Recording with Richard Smallwood was a dream come true, a blessing, and a huge responsibility because he is the consummate musician.”

Award winning independent jazz vocalist Robert E. Person continues to add to his impressive catalog with the release of his brand new single. The new track, titled “I Give You Praise”, is the lead single from Person’s upcoming release titled Classic Covers. First released in 1989 on Richard Smallwood’s Portrait album, the lead single features a collaboration with award winning Gospel music icon, songwriter, and pianist Richard Smallwood.
“Singers record and perform cover songs all the time and having the opportunity to re-make a song with the original artist is rare,” says Person. “Recording with Richard Smallwood was a dream come true, a blessing, and a huge responsibility because he is the consummate musician.”
“I released ‘I Give You Praise’ over 28 years ago and wrote it almost 40 years ago,” shares Smallwood. “It is one of my favorite songs and it feels great to teach, record and release it again. To mentor and collaborate with the younger generation of singers and musicians like Robert is important because our gifts are not our own, they are God given. We have a responsibility to reach back and sow into the next generation.”
This collaboration is one of a kind that doesn’t happen often enough in gospel and/or jazz music. It’s an impressive partnership blending Person’s gorgeous vocals with Smallwood’s signature style of beautifully arranged classical and sacred piano music. And, to continue bridging the generation gap in music, Person enlisted the young, dynamic vocals of Roderick Giles & Grace whose musicianship and commitment to excellence is reminiscent of The Richard Smallwood Singers.
“Robert’s execution is absolutely beautiful. His vocals are on point and Roderick’s vocal work is awesome,” continues Smallwood. “Thank you (Robert) for doing such an amazing musical interpretation of the song. You guys really did it justice!”
“I Give You Praise” is available at all digital music outlets. The Classic Covers live studio album and DVD will be available early Fall 2017. - Bonnerfide Radio
As we approach the month of June and observe that it is African-American Music Appreciation Month (Black Music Month), established in the U.S. by President Jimmy Carter in 1979, we not only celebrate the artistic value of black music and its creatives, but we acknowledge the impact of music in our lives and in our culture. The power of a song can mend a broken heart, inspire for a brighter future and ignite unity across communities, ethnic races and international cultures.
Recognizing the universal influence of music, Jazz vocalist Robert E. Person and pianist Allyn Johnson joined to write “Let My People Live” to kindle peace in our society, encourage positive dialog and change to the many unnecessary instances of police brutality, and petition individuals to embrace cultural tolerance.
“Let My People Live” addresses social conflict through an innovative stylistic merge of Jazz, Urban Inspirational and Hip Hop music. Person’s anthem of human tolerance also includes Dre King (trumpet) and Deacon Izzy who delivers hard hitting lyrics ripped from the devastating violent news headlines occurring every day in our communities.
“Let My People Live”, available on iTunes, Google Play and Amazon, now has a companion lyric video available on Youtube. Creatively directed by Benita Bellamy (The Bellamy Group) and designed by Tye Maurice (Breathe Graphics), this thought provoking lyric video visually exhibits the disturbing reality of humanity divided. The video ultimately captures Person’s goal with the song – to shed light on social injustice and inspire an end result of unity and love.

So, as we anticipate the upcoming recognition of African-American Music Month, it is with hope that we not only celebrate the history of black music and its significance in entertainment and arts education, but that we also intentionally use music as a unifying instrument of peace. With every lyric and note, let there be love and unity because we are all one in Christ.
There is no longer Jew or Gentile, slave or free, male and female.
For you are all one in Christ Jesus. (Galatians 3:28)

Music has the power to inspire, heal and ignite change. Singer Robert E. Person and pianist Allyn Johnson have penned “Let My People Live”, a collaborative musical statement promoting peace, unity and love amid the perils of today’s society.
“Let My People Live”, available now on iTunes, Google Play and other digital music outlets, examines the recent social conditions of police brutality, heightened racial conflict and the many challenges of cultural acceptance.
In acknowledgement of Black History Month and in personal conviction to encourage unity on a global scale, jazzmen Person and Johnson created this emotionally charged and intricately arranged anthem of awareness. They stylistically merged in trumpeter Dre King and sanctioned rapper Deacon Izzy to flow a poetic account of the growing tragic occurrences played out in the communities of the U.S.
“All lives won’t matter until black lives do,” Deacon Izzy conveys. “As artists, we will always speak truth through our music. I ask that you hear our voice, understand our story and walk with us as we change the world for the better. We will never forget those we have lost in the struggle for equal treatment under the law. They are always with us and we honor their legacy through this song.”
Music, in many cases, is the bridge to social movements. Person and his musical colleagues have commissioned themselves to use Jazz, Inspirational music, Rap and lyrics as a tool of goodwill and in advocacy of human tolerance. “Let My People Live is my first effort at lending my voice to a movement,” Person shares. “It is my intent to affirm and promote that love always wins.”
Although the many social situations that plague our world are difficult and sometimes seem hopeless, the message in “Let My People Live” is simple – “We all are human and deserve to be treated as such,” says Allyn Johnson. Applying and sharing this simple value can bring a wellspring of hope. Individually, each person must do their part to contribute positively to society and respect one another, and that starts from within. We must keep our hearts with all diligence, for out of the heart are the issues of life (Proverbs 4:23). Spread love and live! - Path MEGAzine

Love Divine
REP Music (2015)

By Bob Marovich
The first thing you notice when listening to Robert E. Person’s new album, Love Divine, is the bigness of the singer’s voice.
It’s Broadway musical big, regardless of whether Person is summoning deep bass notes or launching into falsetto. His repertory reflects his vocal blend, a veritable consommé of jazz, pop, gospel, and classical influences.
On Love Divine, his fourth album, Person celebrates the sacredness of love, mankind’s most essential but most misunderstood emotion. The album’s dozen selections come from the pens of talented songwriters—from Allyn Johnson’s ethereal wordless title track (Johnson also contributes handsome piano accompaniment) to a cover of Ellington’s “Come Sunday,” and Mike McCoy’s delicate praise ballad “Healed,” a song particularly suited to Person’s croon.
On one of the album’s rare uptempo selections, Person delivers Dr. Norman Hutchins’ “I Really Love You.” Person’s sweet spot, though, is the ballad, and he demonstrates that especially well on the album’s highlight, “Just Because,” written by Glyne Griffith and Melvin “Maestro” Lightford.
Speaking of Broadway, Person gives the listener more than a glimpse of his theatrical side when he duets with Dottie Jones on “Somewhere” from the smash musical West Side Story. Indeed, Person was a vocal performance student at Morehouse College and the University of the District of Columbia, and has done extensive work in musical theater.
As on his Soul Sanctuary album, Person adds a Donny Hathaway cut. Then it was “Someday We’ll All Be Free.” Here it is “Take a Love Song.” Hathaway’s artistry remains relevant more than thirty-five years after his untimely death in 1979.
The bevy of background singers, which include Ronnette Harrison, do a more than respectable job supporting Person throughout the album. Love Divine is a gentle giant of an album.

Picks: “Healed,” “Just Because.” - Journal of Gospel Music
A few years ago, Robert E. Person hit the stage at the famed Blues Alley and wowed a packed house with his smooth gospel jazz during his CD release. Not one to rest on his laurels, Person returned to Blues Alley to another packed house to unveil his fourth CD, "Love Divine."
Receiving a warm welcome from the crowd, Person backed by vocalists Roderick Giles, Ronnette Harrison and Sherice Payne launched into his dazzling repertoire which included the first single, "Testify" written by Ayeshia Daniels, "I Really, Love You," "A Word of Grace", the awe-inspiring "Vocalese" and more. "I Really Love You" is the second and current radio single climbing the Gospel radio charts.
One of the highlights of the night was Mike McCoy joining Person for the beautiful ballad "Healed." McCoy told how he wrote the song after sustaining an eye injury and having multiple surgeries. The touching song captured the hearts of listeners and also garnered buzz on social media after the concert.
Robert E. Person did not leave the stage until he sang, what many believe has become his signature song,"God Has A Plan." The song with his evangelistic mess age appears on the CD and was delivered with the same fervor his fans have come to expect through the years.
Along the way, Person turned the spotlight on jazz pianist Allyn Johnson as he paid tribute to the late Andraé Crouch with Johnson's rendition of "My Tribute" (To God Be the Glory) with Person and the vocalists joining in at the end taking the tribute to its crescendo. Person noted that the song was also in memory of DMV gospel radio icon Marsha Sumner, Bishop Luke Nichols and Rev. Howard Roy, who all passed away recently.
The "Love Divine" CD release was Person at his best, offering a smooth, engaging musical encounter that felt like a dear friend lovingly dropping by with uplifting tunes of hope and joy carried on the wings of soothing, luxurious vocals. With four albums to his credit, Person continues to establish himself as one of the preeminent gospel jazz balladeers. That was also reinforced by the line that formed outside of Blues Alley for the second show.
Robert E. Person added another accolade to his list of achievements week when it was announced later that week he received a nomination for the 2015 Washington Area Music Awards (WAMMIE) in the Gospel/Inspirational Vocalist of the Year category.
Spotted in the audience were Kevin James, Simone Henry, James "Kelly Fox" Davis, Jimmy Russell, Byron Nichols and Tanya Dallas-Lewis.

The gifted vocalist captivated the audience with songs that included the up-tempo “I Really Love,” Great Is Thy Faithfulness” and “Someday We’ll All Be Free,” which he dedicated to the late Whitney Houston. He also introduced “Treasures,” a song Person says is a reminder of how communities used to be.
The show ended with what has become his signature song, the powerfully sermonic, “God Has A Plan,” from his sophomore album, Next Level. A fitting conclusion to a well executed performance.
Person brought style and substance to his Blues Alley performance, which was confirmed by the standing ovation he received. As the crowd dispersed, a line gathered outside waiting for their chance to hear this amazing vocalist. Spotted in attendance were Byron Nichols and Mike McCoy.
Blues Alley is one more venue that Person has conquered on his musical journey. With several high-profile appearances under his belt, 2012 promises to be a year of greatness for this rapidly rising artist.

He also performed "Great Day", a song written by Mike McCoy (Voices United)
The Hawkins’ classic “Going Up Yonder” was delivered in beautiful instrumental praise by composer and arranger Allyn Johnson and the band. Johnson also produced Soul Sanctuary.

The Review
Robert Person has a classic voice that is well suited for the gospel jazz and soothing sounds he puts forth on this CD. If you enjoy smooth jazz coupled with gospel without a lot of heavy urban beats, this CD is for you.
Person is at his apex when his voice is paired with classic jazz tracks such as “I Call On You” and ”Great Is Thy Faithfulness”. The latter is a classic jazz rendition of the song in 3/4 time signature. The track has a holiday quality to it. The piano solo is beautiful and he sings it beautifully. It has a soothing quality to it.
Person’s rendition of Donnie Hathaway’s “Someday We’ll All Be Free” is an easy listening lovers dream.
“You” is another classic piano tune with gorgeous instrumentation reminds the listener that God is everywhere no matter the situation. The light calypso sounding tune, ”Perfect Peace” with sweet vocals that is perfect for a summer beach banquet.
The vocalese ”Soul Sanctuary” immediately threw me into a time warp. It’s absolutely wonderful and soothing.
The epic gospel ballad, ”The Glory You’re Due”, is captivating and well phrased. A remake of a hymn by Charles Tinley, penned during the late 19th /early 20th century, “Beams of Heaven” is also a gem on this CD.
The uptempo track, “Stand By Me”, is where we experience Person modulating effortlessly in the vamp. He has a strong tenor voice and the chorus is every catchy. You’ll find yourself singing it before you know it. Person’s “Gotta Praise” has an easy chorus and can be picked up by praise teams everywhere.
This is definitely a CD for the mature listener that can appreciate smooth music.

Great Day - Tekoa Gospel Music News
Gospel artist Robert E. Person never set out to be a gospel artist. His goal was just to “record good music” but with a change of plans, his album not only transformed into gospel, but also to include authentic jazz.
One listen to Person’s rearrangement to the classic hymn “Great Is Thy Faithfulness” will not only draw in lovers of gospel music but also those who enjoy the creative expression that jazz music harbors, which is displayed not only through Person’s smooth vocal performance but also through the masterful piano solo and thumping acoustic bass, which are common to jazz music.
Soul Sanctuary is an eclectic gospel album that showcases the range and depth of Christian music, but from its inception it was meant to go in a different direction.
“Honestly, I didn’t decide gospel music. It was decided for me on behalf of God of course. Actually, when I set out to do my first project, my goal was to record good music. It was gonna include gospel, but it was not [my plans] to be a gospel artist, but one thing led to another. The next thing I knew, I had a full gospel project and of course, I can only give credit to God for that one, but I’ve always just been a music lover and I’ve been a supporter of just good must, however, God had a different plan and that’s how I got into gospel music... But, I appreciate that plan!” said Person.
The Washington, DC native, having studied music at Morehouse College and the University of the District of Columbia has always been a fan of music but wasn’t until college that he decided to pursue it.
With his background as a studied musician, various styles are combined on this album from jazz, classical, to traditional gospel. In speaking about the diversity found in the album, Person said
“My other goal is to try to make it interesting. Its a criticism that I have as well as a compliment, and that is, its different styles. I appreciate the compliment because it allows the listener to be able to listen to the whole project and not get bored. “
Although this album has an obvious jazz influence, it cannot be said that Person doesn’t offer his listeners diversity.
One of the boldest tracks he offers is a remake of renown R&B singer’s Donny Hathaway’s "Someday We’ll All Be Free". The inspirational theme of the song is what drew Person to pursue it.
“Donny Hathaway is just the best. For me, I did have a little struggle with the song because it doesn’t have a theological meaning but it definitely is an inspirational song, and the message I took from there is that we are all bound by something. There’s something that binds each one of us that we want to be free from. It could be addiction it could be a financial situation. We just want to be free from the things that bind us. So that’s where that inspiration came from.”
If you’re a Christian music lover that loves jazz, a touch of r&b soul stylistics, and gospel in your musical palette, then you’ll love Robert E. Person’s Soul Sanctuary, which is available on www.roberteperson.com , iTunes , AMAZON , and CDBABY. - Breathecast.com
Tenor Robert E. Person gives a stunning performance of the late Donny Hathaway’s classic soulful ballad, “Someday We’ll All Be Free.” This is the first single from Person’s upcoming third gospel album Soul Sanctuary. What makes this piece stand out is not only Person’s phenomenal vocal qualities, but the stellar orchestral arrangements that garnish this uplifting tune.
A fellow graduate of the music program at the University of the District of Columbia, Allyn Johnson is credited with the arranging. This gifted jazz pianist and bandleader of the jazz group Divine Order adds a lush landscape to Person’s vocals starting from the top with full strings and bells ornamented with an acoustic guitar. Person glides along with his silky smooth tones and easily makes the transition to booming chest voice when needed. Each verse is delivered as an almost personal testimony from Person encouraging the listener to, “Never mind your fears / Brighter days will soon be here,” and other uplifting sentiments that hardly sound preachy or cliché.
Johnson sets a mellow mood in the bridge as he plays an unassuming solo on what sounds like a Fender Rhodes keyboard. The delicate bell-tones double the acoustic guitar for a brief energetic spell before engaging in a quick ascending eighth note passage. Person’s abrupt, piercing entrance after the bridge is a bit unexpected but is quickly forgiven as his unabashed enthusiasm elevates his voice into a well controlled falsetto. Throughout the entire song, he expertly and tastefully displays his vocal prowess as he dips down low and then jumps back up without a hint of straining. Johnson’s instrumentation lays a firm groundwork and the background chorus is tastefully added, especially in the coda. At the forefront throughout though is Person with his divine voice and inspiring message.

Robert E. Person is from Washington, DC but his voice is as big as Texas. His robust style – part gospel singer, part jazz balladeer – can be heard on his third CD, Soul Sanctuary.
Person’s vocal talent is a combination of talent, gift and hard work. He was a vocal performance student at Morehouse College and the University of the District of Columbia, has done extensive work in musical theater, served as background vocalist for artists such as George Benson and Kelly Price, and is a Cantor at Holy Comforter-Saint Cyprian Catholic Church in DC. He was tapped to perform at “Lift Every Voice…A Presentation of Performances Dedicated to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.,” part of the Martin Luther King Dedication Week activities in Washington last month.
In the mold of Daryl Coley and J. Robert “Mr. Baptist” Bradley, Person has a muscular resonance tailor-made for hymns, and his rendition of Tindley’s “Beams of Heaven” confirms this. “Beams” is a highpoint on a CD with many highpoints, including a sacred love/worship ballad called “You.” Also remarkable on Soul Sanctuary is the delicate, sensitive piano work of Allyn Johnson, whose jazzy solo on “Great is Thy Faithfulness” deserves its own applause.
Not all songs are inspirational ballads or hymns. For example, “Stand By Me” (not the Tindley version), is a pleasant, pop-flavored song. Person covers Donny Hathaway’s classic “Someday We’ll All Be Free,” which is well done and the album’s first single, but not nearly as powerful or interesting as when he has plenty of room to emote on a slow worship ballad, such as “The Glory You’re Due.”
The background vocalists and musicians are superb and can play/sing complex jazz when the arrangement calls for it. They give the songs a classy touch while endeavoring not to outshine Person’s solos, though I don’t know if that’s possible.
Soul Sanctuary is an indie project with major label personality.

The gospel music industry is flooded with talented, anointed men and women. In this growing group of musicians and singers, occasionally, a particular artist has a ministry that catches the ear and the spirit thereby standing above the rest. Robert E. Person is certainly one to be added to this category. Hailing from the nation’s capital, Person has been singing for all of his life.
In addition to attending Morehouse College and The University of the District Of Columbia (UDC) for music, Person has been able to hone his craft while singing with Karen Clark Sheard, Daryl Coley, Sandi Patty, Richard Smallwood, and R&B’s Alyson Williams. His musical style, although influenced by smooth jazz, pop, R&B, and urban music, contains strong strains of traditional and contemporary gospel music with an unyielding gospel message.
Releasing his debut CD entitled The Call, Person delivers 13 well-produced and excellently-written tracks. Opening with the slamming soulful You’re Worthy, Person takes the lead role behind a powerful gospel choir. He sings about God’s goodness and faithfulness.
The title tune, The Call, is undoubtedly one of the strongest on the CD. With its smooth jazz and adult contemporary leanings, the track not only showcases Person’s dynamic tenor voice, but is simply about heeding the call of God and needing Him desperately. Written by up-and-coming singer/songwriter Mario J. and wrapped around some skillful saxophone work from noted saxophonist James Cheeks of Mo’ Horns, the song is a certain highlight. Flaunting his diversity, Person also delivers the contemporary, hip-hoppy track, Taste And See. Based on Psalm 34, the song is a head-bobber.
Person also dusts off the classic, This Day, made famous by Jennifer Holliday and penned by Edwin Hawkins. A favorite at Christian weddings, Person gives it a jazzy and orchestral texture and provides an instrumental reprise at the end of the project. For Granted, another track on The Call, is a laid-back and relaxing musical interlude. The lyrics are a reminder for us to cherish our loved ones. Allyn Johnson, director of Jazz Studies at UDC, is the song’s co-writer and the album’s producer.
Person’s classical training comes to the forefront on a moving rendition of Glenn Burleigh’s Not ‘Til I’ve Seen Jesus. Another gem is the soft and tranquil vibe of Peace Within. The song’s lyrics center around the unexplainable peace of God. Fitting perfectly within a smooth jazz format, the song’s musical style aptly reflects the comforting lyrics. Pulling out a couple of other familiar tunes, Person tackles Walking Up The King’s Highway and His Eye Is On The Sparrow. He certainly does both of these cuts justice adding his own special flair.
Person, the album’s principal songwriter, also shines on his pretty song, For You I Will Provide. The theme of God’s faithfulness continues with the cut, Right There. The ballad speaks of God being “right there”, no matter the circumstance. Person’s incredible vocal range and heartfelt sincerity takes center stage on another wonderful Mario J. track. He also provides something for us to groove to on the rhythmic song, I Can’t Believe.
Robert E. Person’s debut not only gives us some fabulous Christian music to be inspired by, but it leaves us with bated breath for the next offering from this anointed singer.

Upon hearing the first note, it’s clear that DC native Robert E. Person has been called to make a joyful noise unto the Lord.
His debut CD, “The Call”, can easily be mistaken for a veteran effort, as he delivers such a well-crafted product. The results are only fitting – Person immersed himself into the music programs of Morehouse College and the University of the District of Columbia before connecting with industry powerhouses like Daryl Coley, Richard Smallwood, and Karen Clark-Sheard.
“The Call” comes packed with versatility for the hungry music fan. The opening track, “You’re Worthy”, is reminiscent of sleeper hits from the 80s, with programmed horns and drums, a palpable mid-tempo, and a high-pitched hook that successfully alternates between single- and three-part harmonies. Person successfully displays his range without overshadowing his more-than-capable background vocalists.
Then the title track breezes in with its slowly-timed drum beat, on-count finger snaps, and mellow ‘dooo-wow’ background vocals—all snuggly wrapped in a warm sax and keyboards. Deservedly, “Call” strongly affirms God’s faithfulness to liberate a soul, and the subsequent connection that takes place between soul and Savior.
As Person brilliantly alternates between subtle poignancy and strong vibrato, this tune explicitly describes a “holy moment” in the non-traditional genre of contemporary jazz. The depiction is a mirror image of how God can reach us – anywhere, any time, and in any way He chooses. Written and produced by newcomer Mario J., “The Call” is sure to make you smile (or cry) as you reflect on the time that God answered your call.
“Taste and See”, one of several tunes penned by the candy-coated tenor himself, is a hot mid-tempo track that gets you dancing with its bouncy but smooth flow. The hook is impressive and the background vocalists don’t disappoint, as they deliver the single- and three-part harmonies with power and precision.
Then faith-building tracks “4 You I Will Provide” and “Right There” remind you of who you are and Whose you are. Here, Person is a pure psalmist, providing the lead and background vocals for both tracks. The first tune encourages us to believe God for His provision although we can’t see it yet. The second makes us appreciative of God’s faithfulness in spite of our inconsistency and encourages more accountability.
Person also pays homage to hymns and traditional gospel, delivering classics like “Not ‘Til I’ve Seen Jesus,” “Walking Up the King’s Highway,” “His Eye Is On the Sparrow,” and Edwin Hawkins’ “This Day” with reverence, joy, and passion. And DC jazz aficionado Allyn Johnson is a co-writer and producer of the laid-back “Peace Within,” the funky keyboard-driven “I Can’t Believe,” and a tune that truly resonates within my soul, “For Granted.”
Initially, you are enchanted by elegant chimes, congas, and Person’s soft soprano backgrounds. Then you are completely drawn in by more indelible percussion, as Person’s smoky tenor grips you like a glove and never lets go. Defenseless against this musical artillery, you can’t help but surrender to the solemnity and significance of the message: Cherish the time with the ones you love because you never know when that time might end.
This CD will certainly enhance the collection of anyone who has made – or has yet to make – “The Call”. To hear tracks and learn more about the artist, visit www.roberteperson.com or www.myspace.com/robertperson. - Colette Harrod, The Vine
