Riley Burke Band

Riley Burke Band is an indie-pop/rock band hailing from Youngstown, OH. Songstress Riley Burke’s captivating lyricism and powerful voice join forces with Lance Batton (drums), John Martin (keyboard), Quentin Melnick (guitar), and Matthew Striewski (bass) to create an eclectic full-band sound, with tinges of folk, americana and grunge in the mix. The end result is heartful songwriting inspired by that of Lizzy McAlpine, Taylor Swift and Sara Barielles, fused together with the grit of rock artists like Led Zeppelin, Alanis Morisette, and No Doubt.

Riley Burke Band has become a prominent fixture in the Northeast Ohio music scene over the past two years. The group won the Summit FM-sponsored “Listeners’ Choice Award” at YSU’s “Federal Frenzy” music festival in 2022 and received Bronze in the Local Band category of the Youngstown Vindicator's 2023 “Readers’ Choice Awards”. The group performed as a part of Cedar Point’s 2024 “Band’s in Residence Program” in Sandusky and continues to expand their horizons, branching out into the Kent, Akron, Cleveland and Pittsburgh areas. Burke wishes to encourage more girls and women to become involved in rock music, as expressing herself through songwriting has helped her develop a sense of self-love and confidence.
