Righteous Continental is has been moving and astounding audiences with their unique brand of psychedelic "twisted" blues since December 2016, when the band met for a one-off recording session that turned into so much more.
Since then, the trio have released a full length album entitled "Psychoactive," and enthralled audiences across Connecticut and New York, notably at Foxwoods Casino's Battle of the Bands, where they ranked as finalists and placed third of over thirty bands. The trio has become a mainstay of New Haven's Crown Street clubs, honing their craft and building their audience from the beer-soaked stages of Stella Blues, Cafe Nine, and Pacific Standard. Their unique brand of power-trio funk rock calls back in equal parts to Hendrix's psychedelia, the backbeat driven funk of the 70s, and a lightning-riff take on the blues that is best described as "twisted."
