RIFFA, hailing from the Bay Area, is an up and coming heavy hitter in the house scene. With releases on labels like Box of Cats, Psycho Disco!, Holy Molé, and more, he uses his wealth of knowledge in multiple genres to create records and tailor sets that appease the masses.
Listening to hip hop since childhood, RIFFA has insight into unique grooves and feelings that lend themselves perfectly to the repetitive and bouncy rhythmic sections you can hear in his music. After a breakout year in 2020, which consisted of shows in 9 different cities and and a festival booking at Northern Nights, RIFFA has stayed present in the ears of music fans across the country. With recent releases on Kyle Watson and Wongo's imprint, Box of Cats, Code's imprint, Holy Molé, and his debut 2021 EP release on Rock Bottom records, he has spent no time off.
With COVID nearly behind us, RIFFA looks to further his productions and pick up where he left off. With upcoming gigs in Santa Rosa, San Francisco, and San Diego, he looks to hit the ground running on the second half of the year. And, with 3 upcoming releases on the horizon, there is no question that the momentum is pulling in RIFFA's favor.
