Rico Gillespie, better known as Rico G TheMayor, is a Hip-hop/ pop Artist from Anchorage, Alaska. He traveled the United States in his teens and early twenties playing college basketball in Iowa and football in Arizona. He fell in love with creating music in 2009. In 2012, he put out a 19-track mixtape entitled, "Next-N-Line.” Rico G The Mayor has also released 4 official videos on YouTube and has performed at over 50 venues. Rico G TheMayor is gearing up for his independent campaign, where he will travel across the United States performing and promoting his highly anticipated debut album "Almost Rich Damn Near Famous "." AMDNF" will be dropping the summer of 2016. Rico G TheMayor has released 2 of his 3 singles "Way Up" and “I Got The Juice” and both songs are getting great reviews.
