Andre DuBois, born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio is a producer, songwriter, founder and CEO of Reflective Music, LLC. A graduate of Columbia College Chicago and Full Sail University, DuBois founded Reflective Music in April 2014. Similar to music mogul and fellow Cincinnatian L.A. Reid, Andre fell in love with music at a young age. He has an ear for harmonies and a true gift when it comes to writing song lyrics. Along side with booking manager Rhodela Castillo and other administrative staff, Andre and his team continue to overcome obstacles to fulfill their passion of genuine music and being assets to their community.
These young adults are not only doing what they love, they’re doing it in a manner that will eventually change their lives and those around them for the better. The current image of men and women of color portrayed in the media has a negative connotation. As The Atlantic reported, many members of society take the images seen in the media and apply it to every person of color that they come across. DuBois and his team defy these stereotypes each and everyday.
In an economy where, as Roland Martin stated, “more than half of Black wealth was lost due to home foreclosures and job losses,” Black businesses and entrepreneurs struggle. Reflective Music continues to grow and network. With connections in the Midwest, South, and soon the West Coast, Reflective Music will soon become a national safe haven for African American artists and musicians all while providing job and internship opportunities.

Reflective Music, LLC is a career assistance firm for urban recording artists. Based out of the Midwest, the company provides creative, administrative, and managerial services to independent artists so they may have representation and a support staff while remaining in charge of their careers.
The clientele of Reflective Music, since its inception, have released critically acclaimed projects, been nominated and won awards, and have opened up for internationally recognized artists such as Talib Kweli, Slum Village, Joe Budden, Mobb Deep, and Rudy Currence. With these accolades and credits, the team at Reflective Music has decided to coordinate a tour for these artists and are seeking venues and colleges/universities to perform at starting June 2016 and continuing through the rest of the year.
