Red Cedar Review
Red Cedar Review was formed in Charleston, SC in 2014 when guitarist and songwriter Brad Edwardson teamed up with mandolinist Aaron Firetag. Equipped with Edwardson's storyteller-inspired songs and Firetag's electrifying mandolin prowess, they began performing all around Charleston, making a name for themselves in the area. This won them some great opportunities, opening for acts like Chatham County Line and Jerry Douglas.
After years of shaping their sound, Red Cedar Review went into the studio to record their debut album, "The Highway". They expanded their sound for the album by adding upright bass, fiddle, percussion, and harmony vocals. With the release of "The Highway", the band has hopes to also expand their fan base, by bringing their unique sound to audiences all around the southeastern United States.
"Storytelling is one of the most important facets of The Highway, finding humor in its outlaw songs and adventure in its travelling songs"
