Bio
Born and raised in Ann Arbor MI, Rebekah has been singing since early childhood days. She always loved to sing, and finally decided to take her first official voice lesson at age 7. In high school she discovered musical theater and worked on developing her talent. Immediately after high school she pursued a career in massage therapy and became certified a year later. She was still active in taking voice lessons and small opportunities here and there, but it wasn't until several years later when she decided that she wanted to write and perform her own music. She found her way to a local studio, and although she learned a lot and got her foot in the door, those songs remain unreleased. She then sought out other platforms and found a studio in Rochester, MI which led her to write and release her first EP, titled "Weave Dreams Into Life". The title comes for a line from one of the songs called "We are not Afraid"-and she feels it fit perfectly, to her finally making aspirations into reality.
She likes to call her music "Dream Soul". A blend of pop and soul, exploring emotions and the world and hopefully having the listener discover something new.
