Raven Salve'

Ebony D Weatherspoon, AKA Raven Salve' AKA Lady Ebony, is on a mission to inspire true emotion and to spark healing where ever it may be needed in one's life.  She is an amazing songstress that is known to deliver a high energy performance with a powerhouse voice and inspiring lyrics, with a sound that she coined as, Symphonic Soul.

Born and raised in Pensacola, Fl., Raven Salve' has been in love with music since the age of 5 after witnessing a childhood friend sing "His Eye Is On The Sparrow" in a morning church service.  Mesmerized by her friend's talent and sound, she was inspired to give music a try herself.   In this, she later realized her natural musical gift.  To better her natural talents she went on to receive vocal lessons by Mr. Edward Lee and Dasha Teelin.  She expanded on her talents by taking piano lessons under the teachings of Beatrice Jenkins.  Raven Salve' performed with a few all girl groups and church choirs until she found her own sound in 2002 and decided to go solo.

Raven's first album "Let's Dance: The Mix" released in 2015 giving her 3 hit singles "Jelly Roll II," "Lovin Tru Hurt," and "Coco Brown".  Raven personally called this album her "Critique" album, this album was a raw unfiltered and uncut album.  She released this album with no glitz or glamour on her vocals, just the purity as it came forth from within.  She wanted those fans that follow her to hear her in her truest form and she leaves herself wide open to hear what her fans have to say, and taking note of what she can improve upon as an artist.  She is currently working on her second album “Metamorphosis” which is due to be released sometime in July 2018. On October 17, 2017 she released her first single from the album entitled “Rock With Me”

 After the release of her first album and gathering the input from her fans, she began to develop and perfect her stage presence and studio work while performing at several major venues and locations such as Delta Down LLC in Milton, Fl., Cola Coast Entertainment in Pensacola, Fl., and C&C Productions in Memphis, Tn.  She has been featured on the Impact Network's Bobby Jones Next Big Gospel Talent," The Jazzy Red Talk Show, and major radio stations such as Cumulus Broadcasting's WDLT 104.1, Magic 106.1 and Foxie 105 in Columbus, Ga.  Her single "Jelly Roll II" has been the most requested Southern Soul Blues song on local radio stations and has opened doors for her to perform with and share the stage with other amazing talents such as Tucka, Carl Sims, Larry "Jazz" Anthony of Dru Hill and the Legendary Miki Howard.

 Along with singing and writing her own music, Raven Salve' is a fashion designer, model, author, entrepreneur and President of WAR&DV (Women Against Rape & Domestic Violence) a local nonprofit organization founded in 2014 that focuses on getting women and men the assistance they need to combat and escape domestic abuse.  WAR&DV's mission is to empower sustaining organizations to significantly facilitate victim's recovery by jointly funding and supporting efforts that make a lasting impact on the community.
