""In the Studio with Rain Light Fade""

"...When the tape rolled, I was treated to Ian’s guitar on heavy grind. The fuzz was joined suddenly by Steve’s drums in a surprise wall of sound. Eventually, Dane’s vocals came in – haunting, heavy, strong, crammed with the signature tone that is all him. The groove they wanted was the groove I heard...

...Soon the wall of sound returned as Ian and Steve carried the song into its dying embers – fading in a long fuzzy sustain. As the it faded out, the band discussed what they wanted to do that the end. I heard the essences of Sweetwater, Alice In Chains, Tool, and tasty RLF licks in this one track, and it was fantastic."

"Dane Creek of Rain Light Fade talks about their new record ‘Slaves and Sinners’ and the effects of Human Trafficking on our Society"

"Dane has a way with words in which he is able to give a very unique perspective on things. He gives answers which are straight forward but very intensely layered with details. Some of the answers may surprise some..."

Bio

Rain Light Fade is a rock band, hailing from Seattle, WA. They draw
their influence from bands such as Depeche Mode, Filter, Alice in Chains, The Cure... and
pretty much everyone else...

RLF has been tickling people's ear-canals since 2010. They've been featured on the radio (99.9 KISW), and have also
had the pleasure of rocking various northwest stages with the likes of
Filter, Orgy, The Birthday Massacre, POD, and many more. They have
released 5 EPs, and, after recently returning from a 2+ year hiatus, just released their first full-length album, "Pain and Wonder" to rave reviews.

You might like Rain Light Fade. But you might not, and that's okay too.
