Good Day Noir Family,
our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Rae Radick. I discovered this fantastic artist while shuffling songs on Youtube and I liked the video a lot and the vibes of her music.
Rae Radick knows what she is doing and as soon as you listen to her you are instantly brought into her world. A mix between Shania Twain and Katy Perry.
The quality of the country sounds immediately impressed me.
A music produced at a high level with high-quality musicians, Rae’s vocal interpretation is impeccable, she manages to sing the song emphasizing, with her voice, the lyrics.
Even in front of the camera, she can do it, but this naturalness probably comes from years of experience with the group American Bombshells with whom she has done many tours around America opening concerts also for great artists like Bret Michaels.
You can immediately see her professionalism, she is one who knows how to move in the world of entertainment.
It is difficult to find a flaw in the musical product offered by Rae. Everything seems to be part of a long-term project that will lead this artist to be very well known.

Bringing together elements of country, pop and rock, New York-based singer-songwriter Rae Radick is breeding a genre-defying new sound. Combining husky, soulful vocals with simple instrumentation, Rae adds sensuality to her music. In addition to touring with the esteemed American Bombshells, Rae’s emotive music has been featured in independent films with critical acclaim from notable publications, such as The Other Side Reviews. The latest addition to the songstress’s evolving discography is ‘In A Memory’.
“This song is about two people who never stopped loving each other, but life was taking them in different directions.” – Rae Radick on ‘In A Memory’
Touching on elements of longing, desire and loss in romantic relationships, ‘In A Memory’ is the sonic representation of the “rom-com effect”. Sniffling into a tissue, surrounded by a box of chocolates and praying those two will get together, ‘In A Memory’ teeters between naive vulnerability and fierce resilience.
It’s not just Rae’s husky vocals that stir one’s emotions, but the melody taking you on a rollercoaster ride. Using throaty vocals amidst soothing but “rock-like” guitars, Rae melodically injects life into the poignant track. The dips and crescendos in this blues-driven single captivate a person ensnaring their senses and making them just love Rae Radick. At least someone will fall exquisitely in love, even if it’s not the couple in the movie… - Nexus Music Blog
Released at the end of January, the song brings country footprints at the beginning, both instrumentally and vocally and soon after, with a growth, it also flirts with pop, even by the indie present on the guitar.
This song is about the end of a relationship. Not because they stopped loving each other, but because their dreams were taking them in different directions. The story was inspired by personal experience and real-life breakup struggles. - Os Garatos de Liverpool
Pennsylvania native, up-and-coming singer/song-writer Rae Radick released the fourth single ‘Circle Game’, from her upcoming debut EP (out in September) on 9th April. The self proclaimed love child of Kacey Musgraves and Keith Urban blends country, pop and rock to tackle issues we face as a society through her lyrics. It’s the perfect blend of upbeat instrumentals with authentic song-writing.
Rae has been singing and writing from the age of sixteen, and regularly tours internationally. She’s had impressive features across a number of blogs, radio stations and has performed at a number of venues across NYC from Shea Stadium to Rockwood Music Hall.
With her influences ranging from Kelly Clarkson to Fleetwood Mac, Radick certainly knows how to create her own sound, in her own words, “with a dash of New York City.”

‘Circle Game’ is a misleadingly uptempo, foot tapping track on the surface but the lyrics go into the toxic relationship between social media and mental health. Radick goes into how social media platforms are full of filtered, ‘perfect’ versions of ourselves – playing ‘the game’. I definitely hear the influences of rock with a Kacey Musgraves vibe but unlike the sweetness of Musgraves, Radick has a powerful, fierce voice that blends perfectly with the country/rock sound.
The fabulous music video for 'Circle Game' premiered yesterday and can be viewed below.

Rae Radick delves deep into the dirt and grime of hard rock with the sheer rush of “Blur the Lines”. Everything about it stuns but perhaps the true core of the sound comes from her incredible vocals. A mixture of balladry and bombast, the way that the rest of the band revolves around her feels spirited to experience in full. Volume is very much a must for there is a clear-eyed, razor sharpness to the piece. Guitars blast away and the rhythm is an unruly beast in the best way possible.
The song wastes no time in getting started, for right from moment one the tension is set. From there they only elaborate upon it. Layer upon layer is added to further increase the dramatic flourishes. Aptly a song from a soundtrack there is a cinematic scope to the entirety of the thing. Industrial elements further lend the track a degree of darkness while it doubles down on an urgency. Her voice neatly bridges the gap between the seductive with a wild-eyed gaze. Melodies too have their own cryptic quality behind them, for they further expand into the sound, blending into the groove with ease. Within this crescendo, they allow the rising up of the atmosphere to have an animalistic fervour that brings it to a fevered finale.
“Blur the Lines” shows off the deft skill of Rae Radick in creating an entire musical universe that touches upon the movie itself while remaining a work of art in its own right. - Fruit Sonic

We recently spotted New York artist Rae Radick's music on our Release Radar. With her new single 'Who You're Meant To Be' she creates an extremely authentic and decelerated indie pop sound with an excellent ballad character that is guaranteed to get under your skin. This one particularly caught our attention due to the fact that there is something incredibly inspirational about it, providing motivation and drive at times when it is most needed.
In any case, the figurehead of the whole thing is the artist's clearly defined, warm and beautiful voice, which lays over the arrangement with the highest precision and an incredible amount of feeling. Also impressive is the truly large range of tones, which she masters without any problems, especially in the chorus. The vocals are accompanied by soft electric guitars and piano chords in the harmonies, as well as down-to-earth drums that take over the rhythmic part. A brilliant new release that we don't think you should miss. Check out Rae Radick's music on Spotify: - Berlin On Air
