Rad Win$ is an upcoming artist from Richmond, Virginia. Whether it's singing a smooth melody over a R&B beat or spitting a fire verse on a beat from producers Stoopidxool or Xangang the 23 year old has been making moves across the industry. Doing shows with Famous Dex and Lil' Boosie among others 2017 was a great starting point topped off with a performance at the SXSW music festival. He began gaining notoriety with his the soundcloud single "Benji' My Fam" which racked up thousands of streams upon release. Following up with "It's Over" featuring buzzing North Carolina rapper RonSoCold, Rad showed that he is ready to step into the upper echelon of the next wave of rappers. With upcoming EP "Instant Clout" and his debut album "Nothing Lasts Forever" on the horizon, expect the new star to drop some heavy hitters in the upcoming months.

Fresh out of the 804, Rad Win$ is definitely adding his flavor to the melting pot of the Virginia Music scene. Rad Win$ dropped his first mixtape “Virginia Is For Lover$”, which is hosted by one of the top DJ’s in Richmond, DJ Dez. The mixtape is ten tracks of solid club bangers cosigned by some of the famous Dj Dez name drops. “Virginia Is For Lover$” is named after the much imitated Virginia is for lovers slogan that was created in 1969 for tourist hospitality. Overall, it’s a good project and I’m not surprised that DJ Dez cosigned the project because it’s a nice project. Download it on Spinrilla and stream it on Soundcloud.

Hailing from Richmond, Virginia is the talented artist and rapper, Rad Win$ who has carved out a name for himself thanks to his original sound and unique lyrical flow. Rad skillfully brings listeners into his own world through his masterful storytelling and composition techniques. From a young age, Rad has held a deep appreciation and close connection with music. Thanks to the encouragement from his mother, he found himself involved at the local youth choir, which only furthered his drive towards singing and creating.
Citing artists such as Pharrell Williams, Childish Gambino and Drake as artistic influences, Rad so easily blends a variety of styles to create his own signature sound on every track he creates. Rad's voice carries with it a warm and golden tone, which makes him stand out in today’s music landscape. Every hook and line has a mesmerizing sound attached to it, which can be experienced first hand in his song, “All That!”
Currently, he has been focusing his time and energy into perfecting his signature style which has been welcomed by many listeners from across the world. “My music is everything to me, I want my energy to resonate through the music so that you feel the same way I felt when I made that particular song. I know at the end of the day my music is not for me it’s for the world,” echoes Rad as he discusses the importance and value of having music as a constant theme in his everyday life.
