Homeless Rapper While many Hip Hop artists like to brag about expensive cars and jewelry or being the next Jay Z, a NC artists is singing a different tune about being homeless.
Hip Hop artist QuPree is using his voice to speak for a population that is often over looked; those without shelter.
And he knows this story all too well, Due to what he just chalks up to life circumstances, the rapper found himself on the street in May 2014.
"I went from a nice apartment to sleeping in a car to, eventually, living out of a storage garage," he says. But instead of letting my situation defeat me, I chose to write about my experiences."
Eventually, QuPree hooked up with a friend who let him use his studio to record music that he hopes will inspire other people who have lost everything.
"Everybody wants to rap about rags to riches, but there are millions of people out there who went from riches to rags."

Raps About From Riches to Rags - CWMG Media
QuPree is definitely a breath of fresh air in the current hip hop smog. Upon hearing “Currently Homeless”, I was floored. Poignant and personal, he is not afraid to speak about the struggles in his own life. It’s an amount of depth that you don’t get from many up-and-comers in the industry. “Ghetto Dreams” solidified the confidence I have in QuPree. He’s not rapping just to be rapping. He has a story, a point, and a purpose in each track that’s laid. No time for sleep…keep an eye out for this amazing artist on the rise… QuPree! - D Major, The Urban Suite Radio Show (Tha1Radio San Antonio, TX)

Bio
On April 10, 1993 Aquez Capri Willis also know as "QuPree" was born in Pottstown, Pennsylvania. Raised by his mother in the state of North Carolina, QuPree developed a love for the art of music at a very early age.
QuPree first started indulging in music at the tender age of
10, writing his very first rhymes while living with one of his aunts in
Durham, N.C.. After several years of progressing lyrically, one day,
while hanging out with some friends, QuPree was introduced to what would
soon become his new love and best friend, the popular beat making
software Fruity Loops.
By high school, QuPree would make beats
during his his free time, on the weekends, and after football season
ended. Graduating high school in 2011, QuPree began to consume his time
with producing beats. Music became his life, his passion, and solidified
his desire to become an artist as well as a producer. But trying to
manage an increasingly difficult life, QuPree was forced to drop out of
community college after only one semester.
With inspirations from
producers such as, Timbaland, BabyFace, Swizz Beatz, Jermaine Dupri,
Lex Luger, QuePree was able to develop a sound all his own. With
musical influences from artist like legendary Michael Jackson, 50 cent,
Kanye West, Bow Wow, Tupac, Nas, and Eminem QuPree has been able to push
the boundaries with his lyrics and has yet to reach his ceiling.
Falling
on hard times in 2014, QuePree was evicted from his apartment, but he
refused to let homelessness take his optimism. Qupree began to sleep in
his car when he wasn't able to stay at a friend or family member's
house, he even had to spend cold rainy nights in the storage unit he
used to store what worldly possessions he had left. However, through it
all, QuPree continued to produce beats and write, and used his current
situation as the inspiration to make the people would relate to and grow
to love.
QuPree's Saving Grace: After creating a musical
relationship with the CEO of Cool Water Music Group, QuPree has been
able to prosper as an artist, producer and songwriter. Learning new ways
and methods of production and gaining great insight from his mentors at
Cool Water Music Group, QuPree is quickly becoming what he always
dreamed he would be... a Musician and Entertainer.
