Stormy weather could not dampen the good times during the Oakaloosa Music Festival at Detroits Historic Fort Wayne. The inaugural, all-day music festival featured nearly 25 music acts playing on two stages. An eclectic lineup offered a variety of music choices with Hip-Hop, Country, Rock and R&B acts taking turns on stage.Art installations, a vendors village and a one of kind location rounded out the entertainment choices. All the good times were for a good cause.Proceeds from the festival went to a variety of philanthropic organizations benefiting the surrounding community, including the Historic Fort Wayne Coalitions efforts to preserve the 1840s-era fort that housed the festival. - John Froelich / Special to Metromix
