Queen Da Poetess

Queen Da Poetess was born in Birmingham, AL. She began writing in the 2nd grade and began performing onstage in 2012. Since then, she has performed all over the country. Queen Da Poetess won two National Poetry Awards in 2015 for “Religious Poet of the Year” and “Spoken Word Performance Group of the Year.” She released her first spoken word album, Evolution of A Lyricist, in August 2015. Her poetry carries powerful messages, which covers a broad range of topics, from spirituality to love. Queen Da Poetess is the co-CEO of Kingdom Ink Entertainment and is a proud product of Alabama A&M University.
