Prolifik

 Michael Ellis, also known as Prolifik was born in Dallas, TX, only moving to Cincinnati a few years after. his ability to hear music the way that he does can be explained by the differences in musical culture from the two states.
“I listened to a lot of down south music growing up: Flip, Mr. Pookie, Scarface, and a lot of No Limit. Then around high school, I was introduced to East Coast music. I got hooked on Jay-Z instantly.”

"I used to take home bags full of CD's and cassette tapes from my uncle eddie's house, then pretend to have my own radio show. I think i was about 7 or 8 when i was doing this." Prolifik's early love of music began to grow. He became a professional disc jockey in 2006, where he worked with many influential and growing talents in the industry such as G-Eazy, Rockie Fresh, Casey Veggies, Devin Miles, SMP, and more.

After about a decade of touring, Prolifik decided to bring his knowledge and experience to the front of the stage forming the band "Dfyance" . "2019 will be the year that I take all of my knowledge, fear, and mistakes of the past decade or so, and display them through emotion and song.
