Detroit indie powerhouse, Prima Vera, announced the release of their sophomore EP, Floral Media, due out February 9, 2015. On top of the new, three-track EP, the band is premiering the first single, “Old TV’s and Memories,” which you can stream exclusively below.
The EP was recorded at Zoinga Recording Studios in Royal Oak, Michigan in the late fall of 2015. It was produced, mixed and mastered by Mick Maslowski
Before today, Prima Vera has been the solo project on Detroit musician Bryan H. Iglesias. Now, John Kick (Still Strong, Kisses for Charity) will be taking over on drums and Brendan Crocker (Yours Truly) on bass.

Prima Vera also announced their EP release show. The event will be at the Majestic Café in the band’s hometown of Detroit, Michigan on February 12th. The show will be brought to you by Urban Geographer and also features Woven Tangles, Hot Mulligan, A Year in New York and The Native Age. Detroit trio Prima Vera have revealed their new single, ‘Old TVs and Memories’. The track is taken from their recently announced new EP, ‘Floral Media’, their first featuring recent additions John Kick on drums and Brendan Crocker on bass.
Before welcoming the new members, Prima Vera had existed as a solo project by vocalist Bryan H. Iglesias.
‘Floral Media’ will see two other new tracks as well as ‘Old TVs and Memories’, due for release on the 9th February 2016. The band will be playing a release show on the 12th of that month at Detroit’s Majestic Café, presented by Urban Geographer.

General Bio: Prima Vera is the hard hitting, acoustic-driven Emo/Indie Rock project of Detroit musician Bryan H. Iglesias. In the vein of early 2000's emo and led by a driving acoustic guitar, Prima Vera delivers a sound that is as fresh as it is nostalgic. Launched on January 1st 2015 via entertainment blog Reel Feels TV, Prima Vera is quickly gaining steam and on the way to becoming a national contender in the alternative music scene. Since the release of the debut EP, "The Seasons", Prima Vera has booked and executed several independent tours, received coverage and recognition from Pup Fresh, Alternative Press (Detroit), MTV (Italy), Wayne State University, Elixir Guitar Strings and Brad Laplante TV; as well as features on WXOU (88.3FM), WIDR Kalamazoo (89.1FM) and WAYN Radio (Detroit).
