Popeye Caution

My journey started in South Florida, born to Jamaican parents and at a young age was instilled with the true value of hard-work and discipline.  These core values are who I am today and I strive not to be the best entertainer but to show the world my work in which I do thy duty that is best and leave unto the lord the rest. My popularity started from the grass-roots being on the local Caribbean scene in South Florida and running one of the best dance crews, Caution the dancehall and hip hop world has ever seen. The dance element allowed me to showcase my dancing skills on a large scale and exhibit for many large acts including Trina, Elephant Man, Mavado, and Beenie Man to name a few. I was always a fashionista and incorporate that with traveling for big shows as a dancer people would frequently ask, Man who are you? and request to have their picture taken with I. The musical talents were inhibited at that time because I was so engulfed in dancing and fashion styling, but it was just a matter of time.  My time came in 2010 with the release of my first acclaimed single, Shoes Off which became one of the top riddims and dub-plates in the reggae dancehall world and gained the attention of some of the biggest Reggae artists for their own remixes such as Mr. Vegas, Swagga, I-Octane, & Elephant Man.

 My talents have been sprinkled all over Florida, New York, Jamaica, the UK, Haiti, and the Cayman Islands to name a few and soon to every square inch of the world. I am the new Jamaican Pop Star that cannot be categorized as one sound because I make music for all genres. My newest debut single, Hollywood produced by Izy beats and featuring David Lyn has recently launched and the music video and song has taken off exponentially. This new dynamic sound can be played in every venue and I foresee a billboard spot in the near future. I am currently in the works to release my first EP, which will feature songs with the likes of Grammy Nominated artist Pleasure P, Soup Scudda, former writer/producer to Christina Aguilera, Cotterel to name a few. The word is out and 2014 will be a busy year to say the least.
