Pluto Bailey is a collective character that includes songwriter Steve Kolter and anybody else whom is presently performing or listening to his music. Steve has been writing and recording in various bands or solo projects for nearly 25 years. As Pluto Bailey, he creates a distinct sound in the spirit of acts like Elliott Smith, Calexico, Band of Horses, George Harrison, or Broken Bells. The lyrics suggest humanistic questions of universal appeal without imposing direct answers. A Pluto Bailey performance generates something special; a Great Vibe of awesomeness and joy.
