Phene is an American hip-hop recording artist born in California, raised in York, PA, and deeply rooted in the Atlanta underground music scene. Since 2006, Phene has been featured on hundreds of mixtapes, won 5 Central PA Hip-Hop Awards, and performed alongside some of the most respected artists in his genre. From artists like Jadakiss, Cassidy, & Juelz Santana, to back to back years performing at the A3C Festival, Phene has found a habit of winning fans over on stage.

Aside from music, Phene is the face and founder of High Off Life, LLC. Started in 2009, High Off Life represents a positive state of mind that is represented both on and off the stage. Whether speaking at a high school assembly or having an intimate conversation on a hip-hop seminar panel, Phene takes full advantage of opportunities to connect directly with the youth of tomorrow. Many say that artist development is a thing of the past, but every now and then a new artist comes along that has truly paid dues. After years of recording mixtapes & building a buzz in Pennsylvania, Phene relocated to Atlanta & further became a student of the game. He has a unique story having worked with Platinum and Grammy nominated producers, rubbing shoulders with some of the most respected individuals in the music industry. Now, having released his latest project, Revelation 7:17 independently, years of hard work is starting to come to light. Most recently, Phene scored a perfect 10 out of 10 from callers on SHADE45’s Sway In The Morning show on SiriusXM. The interview and response was so powerful, the stations program director walked across the building to inquire on the artist responsible for the uproar. Two weeks later, Phene was invited to the 2014 Doomsday Cypher, where he traded raps live on air alongside the nation’s hottest emcees, hand selected by Sway to participate.
