There were no Casio tones in The People's Republic of Casio Tones' set; just goofball lyrics ("Party in My Pants") set to tasty slabs of Southern grunge-pop. "This is the People's Republic of I dig the fuck out of these guys!" judge Neeper said. The bassist, in particular, drew praise from judges Stacie Mack ("The bass player has moves like Jagger") and John Miller ("I love the bass player's stage presence and 'funk face' "). - Arkansas Times

Bio
People's Republic of Casio Tones formed in October of 2013 with a shared passion of creating sounds. Harrison, Michael, and Taylor met at the legendary White Water Tavern and discussed influences over a few PBR's and Double Wides. The guys met a mere 4 days later and connected instantly.
Over the next 2 months, they spent countless hours writing and perfecting original songs for their upcoming album, Sounds of Styrofoam. The guys wrote about things they knew and loved such as: festival romances, Arkansas, and PBR. The sound created was a unique perspective of a generation proud to have roots in the unique culture of central Arkansas.
In 2014, PRoCasioTones landed a semifinalist
spot in the Arkansas Times Musician's Showcase and a showcase spot during Austin
Music Week. 2015 saw People's Republic of Casio Tones on Little Rock's biggest festival, Riverfest, as well as the release of their debut EP, Field of Kittens.
