Bio
Paula loxton and the cornhuskers are a 4th generation top quality family oriented band. The band was first started during world war 11 by bill loxton, paulas great grandfather. The name came from a jamboree in the early 1930. The band was entertaining at a farm one hot sunny day..the music was flowing and the dancing made the crowd hungry. This act led to a very happy and generous farmer suggesting that they eat his corn. Well off the musicians went into the field..yes to laugh chase women and frolic..but also pick corn. Eventually feeding many and then they kept playing long into the night. Paula as a child was raised in an all music , close family world. Happiness comes from music and music truly is her passion. In return she writes songs about her prescious family.and her charming stories of folk are what a real legend is made of. So join her and her band for a one way ticket to a good time.
