O.Z Bangaz was born and raised on Chicago’s Westside. As a child, he loved to write, and was trained by his grandfather to be a skilled drummer by the age of 7. His love and skill in music grew rapidly in his teenage years as O.Z Bangaz began to play and create various genres of music in multiple bands. Performing musical theatre helped O.Z Bangaz discover his vocal ability and expand his writing experience..
O.Z Bangaz has composed and written for award winning organizations like the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and Storycatchers Theatre. O.Z Bangaz's passion is Hip Hop. O.Z performs as a Hip Hop producer, musician, and lyricist throughout the country. He continues to expand his network and knowledge of the performance arts.
