Otis Oak

 Hi , My name is Otis Oak born in St. Anne’s Jamaica and raised in south florida. Honestly I just approach this art from the heart people can receive any sound and style from me on any giving day. I emphasize these 3 things good vibes , Motivation and Inspiration anything I create has to hit those three marks. It has to manipulate some emotion anger, sadness depression, but within that concept I strive to create music to give people perspective on their situation and help them find a coping solution or enable them feel at ease about it whatever their facing. I feel my approach to creating music is what makes it unique. How I separate my self from other artist at A3C.  Simply staying true to my reality and being authentic with my story and my actual lifestyle that I’m living. The best way to separate yourself is to just be you to my belief, because no one can be you. Some people may share similar traits but there is never a 100% actually dead on point clone. And as an artist that’s what makes us special is our ability to stick to this strong natural vibration of self.  So through that idea I maintain my individuality. What I want  people to take away from my music at A3C. Growth, self-reflection, wisdom, understanding, and knowledge the list goes on. I’m just a teacher at the core of it all; as I grow I just want to share that experience with people in the best way possible musically. My musical influences are Righteousness, my ideology of god, peace, love and human affairs, Those are just a few, but those are just the main influences. Alongside a few people such as 2pac,Kendrick and a lot of philosophers that are not musicians. They all push me to be great and just make sure my music and my words serves a purpose.  my main goal in music. I just want my music to affect and touch people like Bob Marley, 2 Pac, J.cole, Kendrick etc. I’m stilling fine tuning my art but that’s the scope and my direction.  what keeps me motivated. Greatness, being able to represent the people who have no voice, dreamers, underachievers, people that surfer from mental, emotional, and life struggles. I just want to touch a broad base of those who need clarity.
