Oracle is a female fronted four-piece symphonic power metal band from Cincinnati, Ohio formed in spring of 2017. The lineup consists of Lyra ([real name Emily Owens] vocals, rhythm guitar), Chris Lawrence (lead guitar), Doug Seedle (bass), and Cody Patton (drums). Their music pushes boundaries in the most unconventional ways with heavy orchestrations featuring jazzy, operatic, and even musical theater-esque influences. Lyra offers a truly rare and unique dynamic to the industry as a female quadruple threat guitarist, singer, screamer, and writer, as she is the primary composer and arranger of the group. Their style was shaped by of a wide variety of established artists such as Mastodon, Children of Bodom, Machine Head, Dark Tranquility, Lamb of God, Megadeth, and more. Oracle is destined to take the metal scene by storm, introducing a one-of-a-kind sound that is both captivating and addicting for fans of all subgenres.
