Bio
Opus Rex is a four-piece rock band that was founded on 20 December 2013. The four members consist of Christopher Alan Keener (Bass and Vocals), Graehme Floyd (Guitar and Backup Vocals), Tyse Burrows (Keyboards) and Karl Sloman (Drums/Percussion and Backup vocals). The four members, from London and St Thomas Ontario came together after having extensive experience in other bands. Each member was looking to find other musicians that had a common ability, drive and taste in music; Opus Rex was that result.
The band has a heavy sound, which is supported by complex music arrangements backed by meaningful lyrics. Chris vocals have been described as Chris Cornell meets Eddie Vedder meets Corey Taylor. Graehme lays down solid guitar riffs with soaring solo work, while Karl supports the band with strong rhythmic grooves and thundering bottom end drumming, this is topped off by Tyses full keyboard sounds that make the music rich and interesting in its style.

The band has a strong belief in human rights along with social and political interests. The band prides itself on the fact th
