Known as Official Hec; Hector Rodriguez Jr, originally from Roosevelt, NY is a rapper/lyricist on the rise after the release of his most recent EP “Growing Pains”. Prior to its release, Hec was best known for his single “Oh Nah” (2018) after reaching 24 countries including Brazil, Ecuador, Australia, and the UK. His lyrics demonstrate his conscious observations of lower working-class lifestyles and struggle. His austere style of music allows his audience to understand the struggles he and his peers have been through and includes personal experiences.
