Oak City Roots, has a very unique and approachable indie pop sound. Founded in 2013, the group has written dozens of originals and covers plenty of pop hits from yesterday and today. Oak City Roots has made a name for itself by playing at various venues in the Metro-Detroit area: 2014 ARTS BEATS & EATS, Clawson Art and Authors Festival, American Cancer Relay for Life, and numerous gigs at the Berkley Front and Oak City Grille.
