Back on DCWS is Compton, CA based rock trio No Application Fee with “Sunday Afternoon”, which is the second official music video from their debut “Your New Favorite Album”. This humorous new video finds the trio in their neighborhood, in the hot tub, and on the street rocking out; scenes which bring the “Sunday Afternoon” song to life.
Speaking about the clip, No Application Fee’s Andy G says, “Everything was filmed at our house in Compton, and our neighbors couldn’t get enough. As we were filming the Mariachi scene, standing in the middle of our block, PA system blasting the song over and over again, we look up and almost every house had neighbors standing outside. They were watching and clapping as we’d finish a take. It’s still talked about consistently as we exchange passing with them. There was also a very small, private screening where some called us “the song birds of our generation.”
The band recently had some great shows where they scrapped up enough to hire their first booking agent, so we can all expect to see them perform up and down the coast of California in 2020, and hopefully beyond!
