The New Norm is an Alt Rock band from Danbury, Connecticut.
Influenced by many Classic, 90's alternative and Modern Rock artists, The New Norm creates a truly unique sound with depth and soul.
The New Norm brings a strong message about rising above adversity and remains a truly independent group. The band prides itself as one that bucks the trends and refuses to conform. That honesty and integrity rings true in their powerful live shows and striking music. Soaring guitars and a solid rhythm section provides the foundation for moving vocals and harmonies.
With dedication and resilience, The New Norm has steadily become one of the premier acts in The Greater Danbury area. The band was founded in 2014 by longtime friends and bandmates, Eddie Baci(Lead Vocals/Guitar) and David Wilms(Drums), along with departed (2017) member and bassist, Bob Cullen. In 2015, the band added Wilms' nephew and multi-instrumentalist, Ben Howell as lead guitarist. Currently, the band is comprised of Baci, Wilms, Howell and the many talents of Mitch Gield. Gield, a longtime friend and former cofounder of a previous joint project in the early 2000's, reunited with Baci and Wilms in late 2017 and was quickly brought on board to take over as the band's bassist.
The band continues to grow with new music and an expansion to their live performance schedule, along with increased social media presence.
