In Nena Kapone’s song Ladies Woman, she captures the essence of what the Rainbow Family is all about. Nena embarked on a journey to use music as a gateway for those who don’t feel like they have a voice. She delivers a powerful message in “Ladies Woman”, rapping about the LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender) community. With lyrics such as; “I am who I am”, “God loves me”, and “be who you are” the song gives a powerful overall feeling of acceptance.
The making of the music video for Ladies Woman was nothing short of success. Several people from all walks of life showed up to support Nena. From bisexuals and lesbians to straight men and women. Bright costumes, gorgeous models and a ton of face paint, made for an amazing photo shoot. Scenes included models representing the Rainbow Family. From dancing with each other and Nena to marching in the street holding hands. Everyone who was a part of the making of Ladies Woman made for a day filled with love, family and friendship.

NEna KapOne who originates from Tacoma Washington. At age 11, NEna set the tone for her career in music by dominating the HIP HOP/R&B with her openly gay lyrics and Extraordinaire performance with unusual sumtin different image.Today NEna KapOne is a 27 year old independent female music artist with 15 years strong in the underground rap music scene. NEna is making her mark in today's music industry with (SDE) Sumtin Different Entertainment. Currently NEna is hosting her own radio show called SOWHATRADIO "NENAKAPONE". In May of 2014 NEna flew out to SONY STUDIOS in Culver City, California to meet Queen Latifah. In 2012, NEna also had a major opportunity to meet with DEF JAM RECORDS a&r Lenny Santiago. Later that year she move to New York city for 3 months to record her 3rd LP "Overtime". It doesn't stop there! ever since NEna begin her journey of success Seattle Washington #1 radio station Kube 93 Nominated her best local artist by winning tickets to see Master P, Ja Rule, Ashanti, Missy Elliot's (former) artist Tweet and many more. 2014 her new recording Album Highly Favored has sold and toured countries such as London, Germany, Tokyo and Jamaica.
