Negus Irap is an indie hip-hop artist whose lyrical delivery and melodic rhythm resembles that of a battle rapper. His content consists of punchlines strung together in such a way that you hear a new combination every time you listen to a track. He is without a doubt a lyrical assasin with a signature style that makes him standout undeniably. His influences range from hip-hop pioneers such as LL Cool J, Das Efx, Onyx the rap group, Andre 3000, Biggie Smalls, and Eminem; all the way to new millenial lyricist such as, Chance the Rapper, Kendrick Lamar, Meek Mill, and Joyner Lucas. Negus began rapping as a hobby in gym class, and overtime began to take it seriously as his skill level grew. He released his debut EP called "Daisy's Son" during the 4th quarter of 2016 on the major platform Spinrilla and it was met with a solid response from his fan base, even getting spins on New York and United Kingdom radio airwaves. His single "Onion Head", which is a no hook track about one of his childhood friends, is available on Apple Music and is being recieved very well by the hiphop community.
