Bio
Nate McGahee is an Atlanta-based Christian hip-hop artist known for his infusion of Atlanta style trap and Floridian pop. While being raised in Tallahassee, Florida, Nate began rapping at the age of 12 with his home studio consisting of a laptop with FL Studio and a USB microphone. Although Nate originally started producing and writing, as time went by, he began focusing more on the craft of writing and stopped producing. In 2015, Nate released his album entitled “Radiance” through an independent Christian Hip-Hop source called Trackstarz. This album garnered decent attention in the CHH community, but his single “Rapper Juice” led the way. “Rapper Juice” is still his most recognized song today. Two years pass, and in 2017 Nate independently releases his album entitled “Vision” in which he gives us an inside look into his struggles with temptation, relationships, and his faith. After the release of “Vision,” Nate took time away from music to rediscover his faith in Jesus and begin moving in the right direction. In May of 2019, Nate became a part-time youth pastor at a local church and now uses the rest of his time diving back into music and now taking speaking engagements. With influences from Andy Mineo, Jon Bellion, AJR, Lawrence, and others, Nate stepped back into producing and will release three consecutive three-song EPs in 2020 under the title “All Things Considered.” He will produce all the songs.
