About the band:
Naked In Public was formed as a joke in the eighth grade and did a talent show performance. After the talent show, we realized how much we enjoyed playing music in front of a crowd. We began to take it more seriously and through a lengthy process of finding a solid bassist (We have one now, Daniel), we've ended up where we are today. We all share a passion for creating and playing music that we would like to do for the rest of our lives.
Music:
Naked In Public is a three piece garage punk act comprised of bass queen Daniel Mayfield, drummer Cole Westman, and the frontman himself George Hurt. We like to say our music is our own special take on garage rock and punk music. We like to blend groovy elements within our loud garage sound. Our first ep "Gang Sh*t" came out this summer and we currently have a lot more music on the way.
Live:
We are a very energetic band, you will never find any of us just standing around and being boring. We love to be interactive and engage our audience as much as possible. Performing live is the favorite perk of being a musician for all three of us.
